Before a certain moment phones with two SIM-cards aroused purely academic interest in me - I was interested to know what they were, but there was no need to purchase a device of this type. But, as often happens in life, the situation changed dramatically and we had to quickly look for such a product.

When choosing a phone, I was guided by models of the middle price group, which have a more or less modern appearance. In addition, dimensions are important to me - I don’t like very small devices, because they are lost in the pocket of my trousers or jacket and I don’t feel them. Without thinking twice, I opted for the phone I.

Delivery set and appearance

Along with the phone I got the battery, Charger and instructions. All this was packed in a small box the size of two cigarette packs - I get the feeling that soon phones will be sold in plastic bags, like candy.

Phone dimensions I (length, width, thickness) - 11.4x4.8x1.4 cm. Weight - 95 grams. Its appearance on the websites of many stores is called "elegant and stylish", although these words are nothing more than a trick to lure customers. I would call its design cute and neat - it looks simple and unpretentious.

At first glance, it may seem that there is metal in the design of the front surface - the keyboard block seems to be made of stainless steel treated in a special way. But the front panel, like the whole body, is made of plastic and is only edged with a thin metal strip.

At the top, under a narrow lattice panel, there is a speaker, and at the bottom (under the 0 key) is a microphone.

The back cover in my device is glossy (there are options with a corrugated finish). It can be safely called the dream of a fingerprinter - any touch, the smallest dust particles and pollution are immediately evident. But this is not the main drawback - it is really slippery. When pulling the phone out of your pocket or bag, you should not make sudden movements with your hand, especially if you are holding it not in the palm of your hand, but with several fingers - there is a possibility of launching the product into flight.

On the right side there is a Micro-USB connector for charging and connecting to a computer (located on the right and closed with a plug), as well as a key that switches between SIM cards. On the left side there is only a loop for the strap.

Screen and controls

The phone is equipped with a 2.2-inch TFT display. Its resolution is 240x320 pixels and it displays 262 thousand colors.

The image quality is quite acceptable, only if you look at the screen directly - even at small angles the picture is very distorted. Perhaps the reason for this behavior lies in the fact that between protective glass and the display itself has a fairly large distance (about 2-3 mm), and the "window" itself has a slightly curved, lenticular surface. But this disadvantage can also turn into an advantage - a stranger standing next to you will not be able to see anything on the screen of your phone.

On the main screen, you can display not only a large clock, like mine, but also almost a dozen other widgets. You can add a calendar, top contacts, bookmarks, an AccuWeather application that will show you the weather in your area.

But the keyboard, unlike the screen, is simply excellent here. Below the display are two soft keys. The left key is responsible for entering the menu, and right button can be configured as you wish (I use it for direct access to contacts - I couldn’t choose anything better from the proposed list). Even lower are the call and end call buttons. Between them there is a large navigation key, made in the form of a rectangle with rounded corners, and inside it is a button designed to confirm the choice. Personally, it is very convenient for me to use such a joystick - it seems to be designed for my thumb.

The number keys are well spaced apart, minimizing accidental touching of multiple buttons. All the keys have a short travel, pressing a little tight, but this has its own plus - they react to each touch with a pleasant creak, so there is no doubt about whether there was a press.

Key backlight white color. In daylight, it is practically invisible, and it can only be seen in the dark.

Menu and work with SIM-cards

Menu in my I occupies four screens: icons are not sorted into groups and for search desired application I have to flip through multiple screens.
