BATTERY

The battery with Huawei AM08 is non-removable at 700 mAh, during my test the column lasted about 5-6 hours of music + audiobooks.

INTERFACE

The column is controlled using 5 backlit touch buttons using only Bluetooth 4. A laptop with Bluetooth version 2 refused to connect. From here I see the main drawback for me - the lack of cable connection. This would save a lot of battery and I would be able to connect my favorite audio player. But paying tribute wireless technologies only smartphones were able to connect. Huawei AM08 was tested in pair with Elephone P8000 with over 4000 mAh battery.

You can also control it from a locked smartphone.

Another interesting news was that the speaker constantly says something in Chinese, when you turn it on, turn it off, connect the bluetooth, and also when there is little charge left. On the one hand, a pleasant female voice, and on the other hand, who will understand what exactly she wants ...

SOUND

The most important thing in this device- the sound, it's just gorgeous, of course you won't hear mega deep basses here, but the volume is at a height and at maximum volume the sound does not choke. Huawei AM08 plays very clean, average high frequencies play out great. The 65 Hz declared in the specifications seem doubtful, I think the bass is clearly reproduced from about 100 Hz in this device.

CONCLUSION

Great design, recognizable brand, excellent clear sound and short battery life. I consider the use of this speaker as a headset justified, the connection to good level. IN as bluetooth speakers in a car or in nature, everything is also gorgeous, but commute Huawei AM08 only possible with a device with bluetooth support 4, that is, a smartphone or tablet. I leave it for the house, and the good old one will go hiking with me.
