Design and equipment

On the right side of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is the screen lock key and volume rocker; on the right is a slot for a microSD memory card covered with a flap; top - microUSB and MiniJack connectors; bottom - microphone hole. On the rear panel, in addition to the camera lens, there is a lone speaker (it could have sounded louder). The tablet body is almost not amenable to twisting, and the textured back panel made of matte plastic allows you to save on the purchase of a cover.

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite itself, the box contains only Charger and a USB-microUSB cable (in our case, both are white). From additional accessories First of all, a memory card is asked for purchase, because the tablet has only 8 GB of internal memory, about a third of which is occupied by the operating system.

Screen and camera

The display of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is seven-inch, with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, made using TFT technology. But Samsung calls the universal word “TFT” both high-quality PLS matrices and mediocre TN ones. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, unfortunately, has exactly the second option: the color reproduction and maximum brightness are generally good, but the viewing angles are not wide enough. If you deviate to the right (if you hold the tablet vertically), the image brightens significantly, if you deviate to the left, on the contrary, it darkens.

Due to the low pixel density, the image looks grainy, so when browsing the web, you often have to resort to scaling. The screen, although it is covered with plastic, and not tempered glass, should not scratch much. Touches to the screen are processed clearly, but there is no oleophobic coating.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has only one camera, and not the front one, which is typical for many tablet PCs, but the rear one, lacking autofocus. The maximum resolution for still images is 2 MP, for video - 640x480 pixels. The limitation is more of a marketing one than a functional one, because the installed processor is quite capable of writing 720p video. The quality of photos, as for a tablet, is tolerable.

Performance

The heart of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is the Marvell PXA986 single-chip system. It has two ARM Cortex-A9 cores with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, which are a little faster than the now widely used Cortex-A7 (MediaTek chips), but at the same time “gluttonous” in terms of battery life. RAM - 1 GB, part of which is eaten by an integrated graphics accelerator.

The Vivante GC1000 video core is not very powerful and, worst of all, extremely rare. There may be problems running some 3D applications on it. For example, we failed to "drive" the Epic Citadel benchmark. In the same time Dead games Trigger 2 and Asphalt 8 launched without any problems and at medium graphics settings gave out more or less comfortable FPS. Under load, the tablet heats up slightly.

Software and autonomy

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has an operating android system 4.2.2 with TouchWiz graphical user interface and set branded applications Samsung. Will there be an update to 4.4 or more new version, not yet known. The menu animation is not "reactive", but quite smooth. A nice bonus is the preinstalled full version Polaris Office application suite for working with electronic documents.

The autonomy indicators of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, although not record-breaking, are very, very good. Low screen resolution allows you to view HD video in MX Player ( hardware decoding) at 50% brightness and Wi-Fi on for up to 9 hours. Read same e-books V Cool Reader at 30 percent brightness and with Wi-Fi turned off, you can get up to 12.5 hours.

In the dry residue

On the whole, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite justifies its price, namely $150. Yes, you can buy tablets with a quad-core processor and an HD screen for this money, and not only from B-brands. But time battery life they are likely to be worse. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's color options and rugged construction make it great for kids, for example: it's going to take a lot of work to break this toy. In addition, children will appreciate the presence of a rear camera, with which you can learn the basics of photography. But the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is not suitable for the role of a “grandmother’s tablet”, since the front camera is critical for this audience for video communication with friends and relatives.

5 reasons to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite

  • five color solutions;
  • durable and wear-resistant body;
  • decent indicators of autonomy;
  • affordable price, especially for the "Galaxy";
  • cool name of the processor, consonant with the publishing house Marvel Comics :)

3 reasons not to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite

  • low display resolution and small viewing angles;
  • mediocre processor speed and a rare graphics accelerator;
  • absence front camera for video calls.

The cheapest tablet of the Korean manufacturer

Against the backdrop of the presentation of the giant Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, the new Tab Pro line, various wearable electronics and other advanced solutions, Samsung's entry into the ultra-budget tablet market went almost unnoticed. In the lower price segment, Koreans have been developing the Galaxy Tab line for a long time, but this does not seem to be enough. The incomes of modest Chinese manufacturers do not allow you to sleep peacefully, and Samsung will try to tear off its own piece of this pie with Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

If the fact of installing a TN-matrix in a Samsung tablet does not scare you away, then the rest of the characteristics will hardly be able to scare you away. Everything is at a minimum, the front camera is missing.

Design

We received the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite without a box, so let's jump right into the design of the tablet. In addition to a completely black solution, models with a white front and multi-colored rear panels are available on the market - blue-green, lemon, white and peach. But we received a strict black modification for testing.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite almost copies the regular Galaxy Tab 3, which is to be expected.

The front panel is devoid of both the camera lens and the brightness sensor. This would have made it possible to shorten the tablet, but the manufacturer chose not to waste time on this. Still, a budget model, no additional costs. However, the width of the Tab 3 Lite turned out to be a little less than the competitors from the table.

Below are three standard samsung buttons- touch to call context menu and return, as well as mechanical, to exit to the main screen.

The plastic back panel has a non-marking and non-slip “leather” texturing, but it is not as pretty as the older models. The "seam" along the edge is also not provided. In the middle is the camera lens, and next to it is the speaker hole.

The central baffle of the speaker is slightly raised so that it does not rest against the table surface. The implementation of dynamics is perhaps one of the most significant external differences Tab 3 Lite from the original Galaxy Tab 3, which had two speakers, and they were placed on the bottom. The maximum volume of the tablet's speaker is below average, and it starts to wheeze at it.

The Micro-USB connector, which is usually located at the bottom, is brought to the top, to the headphone jack. This is somewhat unusual.

At the bottom there was only a microphone. In this case, it is not particularly useful, but in the 3G version of the tablet you can make calls, and such a logical, “telephone” microphone location will come in handy. But in the photos of the 3G modification, the front speaker is not observed, so it will be difficult to listen to the interlocutor.

A spring-loaded memory card slot is covered with a plug on the left.

On the right are mechanical buttons - a switch and a volume rocker. Despite the narrow size, they proved to be very comfortable due to the short and precise stroke.

The build quality of the tablet pleased us. It is difficult to find fault with something: all the details are perfectly fitted to each other, and there is no creaking when trying to bend. As for the aesthetic side of the issue ... the Korean manufacturer is not famous for the originality of design at all, and he would hardly go for experiments in a budget model.

Screen

The front surface of the screen is made in the form of a glass plate with a mirror-smooth surface, resistant to scratches. Judging by the reflection of objects anti-glare properties of the screen are worse than those of Google Nexus 7 (2013) (further we compare it with it). For clarity, here are photos in which a white surface is reflected in the off screens of both tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is on the right, then they can be distinguished by the size and presence of on-screen buttons for Nexus 7):

gray surface Galaxy Screen Tab 3 Lite confirms the above. Reflection in the screen is tripled, which suggests the presence of an air gap between the surface of the matrix and the outer glass. On the outer surface of the screen there is a special oleophobic (fat-repellent) coating (not very effective, worse than Nexus 7), so fingerprints are removed more easily and appear at a slower rate than with conventional glass.

With manual brightness control, its maximum value was about 320 cd/m², and the minimum 14 cd/m². The maximum value is not very high, and, given the weak anti-reflective properties, in bright daylight the image on the screen will be hard to see. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable level. There is no automatic brightness control by light sensor. At any brightness level, there is no significant backlight modulation, so there is no screen flicker.

This screen has matrix type TN. The photomicrograph demonstrates the typical TN structure (or rather, the lack of structure) of subpixels:

For comparison, you can see the gallery of microphotographs of screens used in mobile technology.

The screen has good viewing angles in the vertical direction (hereinafter in portrait orientation), but with the slightest deviation to the right, dark shades are inverted, with a deviation to the left, light shades are inverted. For comparison, here are photos in which the screens of the Nexus 7 and the tested device display the same images, while the brightness of both screens is set to about 200 cd / m². Perpendicular to the screens test picture:

It can be seen that the colors on the screen of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite are noticeably distorted. And the white box:

Note the good uniformity of brightness and color tone for both screens. The brightness of the white field when tilted in any direction decreases faster than the Nexus 7. For example, when tilted to the right:

Now the test image is at an angle of approximately 45° to the screen plane with a vertical deviation:

It can be seen that the color balance of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite screen at this angle has become even slightly better. The situation is worse when deviating to the left:

The blockage in the highlights is very strong. And it’s really bad when deviating to the right:

Brightness drops a lot, colors turn inside out. The black field does not brighten very much when the gaze deviates from the perpendicular to the screen in any direction, for example, when deviating to the right:

When viewed perpendicularly, the uniformity of the black field is not ideal, as there are areas with a slightly increased black field brightness:

Contrast (approximately in the center of the screen) is acceptable - about 730:1 . The response time for the black-white-black transition is 12 ms (8 ms on + 4 ms off), the transition between 25% and 75% grayscale (according to the numerical value of the color) and back takes a total of 36 ms. Compared to the IPS used in mobile devices, this TN panel is relatively fast. The gamma curve constructed from 32 points with an equal interval according to the numerical value of the shade of gray did not reveal a blockage either in the highlights or in the shadows. The exponent of the approximating power function is 2.44, which is higher than the standard value of 2.2. In this case, the real gamma curve deviates little from the power dependence:

Color gamut narrower than sRGB:

Apparently, the matrix filters mix the components together. The spectra confirm this:

This technique allows you to increase the brightness of the screen with the same energy consumption for backlighting. As a result, the colors of images - drawings, photographs and films - oriented to the sRGB space (and the vast majority of them) have reduced saturation. There is no balance of shades on the gray scale as such - the color temperature is higher than the standard 6500 K and varies greatly from shade to shade:

The deviation from the blackbody spectrum (ΔE) on a white field is large, and varies greatly from hue to hue, which also worsens the visual perception of color balance:

The maximum brightness of this screen is low, anti-glare properties are weak, as a result, the comfort of using on a clear day on the street is highly questionable. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable level. The advantages of the screen can only be considered no screen flicker. There are many disadvantages: typical for TN distortion of colors and brightness of shades when the gaze deviates from the perpendicular to the plane of the screen, narrow color gamut, disgusting balance of shades of gray. Inexpensive version of the screen on the TN-matrix.

operating system

The operating system of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is practically the same as that installed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 - the same Android 4.2.2 in the proprietary TouchWiz shell. The main difference is the appearance of the multi-window mode. In this case, up to two applications are supported, which is quite enough for the available screen size.

Apart from Play market, there is a company store Samsung apps Apps. The list of pre-installed software is formed, respectively, by standard google apps and Samsung. In addition, there are several third-party free programs. Content transfer via DLNA is supported. Under an agreement with Dropbox, 50 GB of cloud storage is provided for two years after activation.

It took us some time to get used to on-screen keyboard Samsung, or rather, to its small buttons and large gaps between them:

The operating system works mostly smoothly, but the animation sometimes slows down, especially in the Play Market. Due to the lack of updates, the tests used basic version firmware. Turning on the tablet takes approximately 28 seconds. From eight gigabytes internal memory the system takes almost three, leaving the user with about 5.13 GB. But the microSD slot is in place, so there is no catastrophe here for a budget tablet without ambition.

Platform and Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite uses the same single-chip system as the regular seven-inch Galaxy Tab 3 - Marvell PXA986.

Its characteristics are as follows:

  • CPU: 2 ARM Cortex-A9 cores (ARMv7-A architecture) with a maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz
  • GPU: Vivante GC1000 @ 800 MHz
  • Support for OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenVG 1.1
  • RAM: LPDDR2-SDRAM
  • Support for 1080p video recording / playback, cameras up to 16 MP

The amount of RAM Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is 1 GB. By modern standards, the number of cores and the frequency of their work corresponds to the budget level. Unfortunately, this may not bring a battery life bonus, since Cortex-A9 cores are used, not Cortex-A7. The graphics processor is also capable of disappointing, since Vivante solutions are not particularly popular on the market, and besides, one of the basic modifications is installed here.

But first, we will evaluate the processor performance using JavaScript tests:

It seems that the gap between Marvell and Mediatek in Mozilla Kraken is due to the difference in frequency, and the MT8125 does not receive any dividends from an additional pair of cores. SunSpider confirms this. Whatever one may say, the usefulness of multiple cores in mobile devices is being questioned. Excellence in Google Octane is the browser's merit.

Next to the other seven-inch tablets we've tested, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite looks very unconvincing. And the lag behind similarly priced solutions on budget Mediatek platforms is, on average, 30-40%. The result in Antutu X is almost the same:

MobileXPRT has confirmed that the Marvell platform is lagging behind. Notice the low score in the gallery scrolling subtest.

The budget Tab 3 Lite is behind all competitors, but in use this difference is invisible:

The final non-gaming test, SuperPi, does not offer any surprises.

Let's move on to gaming benchmarks. Low expectations from the PXA988 were confirmed immediately: the Epic Citadel benchmark based on Unreal Engine 3 was not launched.

In 3DMark Ice Storm, the Marvell system-on-chip lags behind even the budget Mediatek. As for the GFXBenchmark T-Rex HD scene, it turned out to be too tough for our hero:

At the average level of quality in Basemark X, our hero overtook the Ritmix tablet, which can be considered an achievement.

Gaming benchmarks confirm the failure of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite as a gaming tablet. Let's check the performance of real games.

More than half of the games in our test set had problems. Which is not surprising.

Video playback test

To test the display of video files on the screen of the device itself, we used a set of test files with an arrow and a rectangle moving one division per frame (see "Methodology for testing video signal playback and display devices. Version 1 (for mobile devices)"). Screenshots with a shutter speed of 1 s helped to determine the nature of the output frames of video files with different parameters: resolution (1280 × 720 (720p) and 1920 × 1080 (1080p) pixels) and frame rate (24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 fps) varied. With). In tests, we used the MX Player video player in Hardware+ mode. The test results are summarized in the table:

FineNo 720/25pFineNo 720/24pFineNo

Note: If both columns Uniformity And Passes green ratings are set, this means that, most likely, when watching movies, artifacts caused by uneven interleaving and dropping frames will either not be visible at all, or their number and visibility will not affect viewing comfort. Red marks indicate possible problems associated with the playback of the respective files.

Intervals between frames (or groups of frames) in most cases alternate slightly unevenly, 50 and 60 fps files play with frame drops, and 1080p 60 fps files do not play at all. When playing video files with a resolution of 720p or 1080p and an aspect ratio of 16:9, the image of the video file itself is displayed exactly on the wide border of the screen. The brightness range displayed on the screen corresponds to the standard range of 16-235 - all gradations of shades are displayed in the shadows and in the highlights.

MX Player uses the Hardware+ codec to decode AC3 tracks. Of course, our hero is not suitable for demanding game scenarios, but he copes with video display normally.

Wireless support

Here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's problems only grow. Perhaps they relate exclusively to the test instance, but they are worth taking note of. The tablet is very unstable wifi receiver. Communication was constantly lost even at a distance of 3-4 meters of open space from a very powerful router with three external antennas. The problem was solved tritely - by placing the tablet close to the router. But even in this case, the connection did not always go through, the victim of which was the game N.O.V.A. 3.

In addition to the dubious single-band Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, the tablet supports Bluetooth version 4, as well as GPS/Glonass. Connecting to satellites outdoors takes a few minutes, and communications are quickly lost indoors. The branded infrared port, which Samsung continues to install in its tablets, is deprived of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. The USB OTG mode was also unavailable.

cameras

Under the reduction was not only the infrared port, but also the front camera. The rear has a resolution of 2 megapixels. For such a resolution, the picture is not so bad, but the lack of megapixels is clearly felt:

The removed text is legible in almost the entire area:

The maximum resolution of movies (video: MPEG-4 (Base Media), 2553 Kbps, 640×480, 23.912 fps; audio: AAC (LC), 64 Kbps, 48 kHz, 1ch) is the same as the front camera's normal resolution. Unlike the number of pixels, the frame rate is at a good level.

Offline work

We were only able to test the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite in reading and video modes, because, as mentioned above, Epic Citadel did not work on the tablet. It would be possible to enable the battery test in GFXBenchmark, but it also turned off after a while after launch. A power saving mode is available on the tablet, but it only limits the maximum processor frequency (which is already low) and the screen power level (probably due to brightness), so the table shows the results with the power saving mode turned off.

The graph of battery consumption readings is almost uniform, there are no sharp collapses.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite does an excellent job of its role in reading mode, clearly outperforming cost-effective Cortex-A7 competitors. But when playing video, the battery life is reduced significantly. Limiting the maximum processor frequency did not save the situation: the difference was several minutes.

Complete samsung charger The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite took us almost five hours to complete. A third-party adapter was used, since the tablet came to us without accessories. The Tab 3 Lite cannot be charged from a computer.

conclusions

Samsung saved on everything. An outdated single-chip system, low-quality speaker, lack of a front camera and infrared port, low battery and internal memory capacity, and most importantly, a TN-matrix of poor quality. Today, for the same money, it is easy to purchase much more interesting devices that are inferior to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite only in terms of the manufacturer's fame.

The modern world is full of different gadgets. And tablets as well. Sometimes it is very difficult to choose something really worthwhile. Therefore, it is necessary to study a wide variety of models. Today we will get acquainted with such products as Samsung Tab 3 Lite. This tablet is very popular among buyers. But why? What's so special about it? And what is your opinion about this product adhere to the owners, experts and buyers? All of this will help us figure it out. specifications devices, as well as numerous product reviews. Let's look at them in more detail.

Screen

The first thing you should pay attention to in the Samsung Tab 3 Lite is the screen. With a tablet, it should usually be quite large. Unfortunately, in this regard, "Samsung" can not boast of anything. After all, the size of the display diagonal of the Tab 3 Lite is only 7 inches. This is not so much as it might seem at first glance. After all, the bulk of these gadgets now comes with a diagonal of 10.1 inches.

However, this does not reduce the quality of the device. In general, except for compact size display, it is more than satisfied with users. After all, this tablet transmits 16 million colors and shades. So, the image will always be of high quality and unforgettable. In addition, the resolution of the screen is also worthy of praise. Samsung Tab 3.7.0 Lite has 1024 by 600 pixels. This is enough to watch movies in excellent quality. In addition, reading on such a tablet and playing is also convenient.

Dimensions and weight

Strictly speaking, not only the screen affects the dimensions of the device. Sometimes you should pay attention to the dimensions of the tablet as a whole. Especially if you plan to carry the gadget with you. Among other things, weight also plays an important role here.

Fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite performs very well in this regard. This tablet is compact. Its length is 193 millimeters, width - 116, and thickness - 1 centimeter. But for such a device, this is enough. It's pretty comfortable to hold. And even a child can handle the tablet.

Samsung Tab 3 Lite 7.0 8GB weighs only 310 grams. This is extremely small. So, the tablet will not be for you the so-called extra burden. In principle, all this has a very good effect on the reviews left by customers. After all, they are able to glorify any gadget. We can say that this product is a real storehouse for the student. After all, the child will be very comfortable with such a light and miniature, but at the same time, a tablet suitable for reading and entertainment.

Processor and system

Samsung Tab 3 Lite also pleases buyers with its processor and operating system. Indeed, without these components, it is impossible to imagine a gadget that works well. The thing is that the processor here has 2 cores of 1.2 GHz. This is a very worthy indicator.

The operating system, of course, is known to everyone - "Android". Only now its version is a bit old - 4.2. Nevertheless, buyers are still happy with it. If necessary, you can always just take and update the system. Until any new version. But it's not worth going above 4.4 yet. After all, it is this version most often found on many gadgets. So, she deserves attention.

RAM

To run games and applications, in addition to the processor and system, one more detail is needed. It's called RAM, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 Lite doesn't have any special features in this regard. Indeed, as many potential buyers assure, there is very little RAM here - only 1 GB.

But as practice shows, this space is more than enough. First, we are not dealing with a gaming tablet. So, a lot of RAM is not needed here at all. Secondly, most programs and games require just such an indicator to ensure performance.

Thus, even 1 GB of RAM ensures maximum performance of the device. And you do not have to endure any restrictions and hardships. Yes, the latest tablet games will not be able to be activated. But the bulk for entertainment or work - easily. Sometimes this is enough for buyers to be satisfied with the tablet.

Space

Of course, no gadget can do without such a feature as free space. It is needed to record personal data and install applications. In Samsung Tab 3 Lite, this indicator is far from being at the highest level. Nevertheless, this does not scare away buyers from this product.

It is worth considering: upon purchase, you will be available on the Samsung Tab 3 Lite 7.0. 8GB memory. Of these, in reality, 6.5-7 gigabytes are obtained. After all, the rest of the space is needed for operating system and resources to ensure the health of the tablet. In general, the place, frankly, is not enough. But only this, as already mentioned, does not scare off buyers much. After all, this situation can be easily and simply corrected. How exactly?

Memory card

For example, insert a so-called memory card into the device. Unfortunately, some models of tablets, phones and other gadgets do not have this feature. But not the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 8GB. After all, this device has such an opportunity.

If you are sorely lacking space, then simply connect a MicroSD memory card to your tablet. Only there is one small limitation here - this is the maximum allowable volume. It is only 32 GB. If you wish, you can connect more, but in this case you will have to prepare for numerous hardware failures. Sometimes they can cause great harm to the performance of the tablet.

Another little tip: do not completely fill the memory and card with data. Leave at least 500 MB free. This will avoid some not the most pleasant system failures. They are not critical, but they still affect the performance of the tablet.

Battery and Camera

Battery and camera are the last two things to look out for. In principle, the camera on the tablet is not so important. But nevertheless it should be. Indeed, without this feature, you should not even stare at this or that gadget.

Unfortunately, there is only one camera here. And she shoots with average quality - 2 megapixels. For a tablet, this is still not enough. But in capable hands, even such a rear camera will give excellent results. Nevertheless, this repels buyers from the gadget. Sometimes it is pictures from a tablet that are needed in good quality. Especially if we are talking about such a compact device as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 8GB.

But the battery of the tablet pleases. Its volume is not so large - 3600 mAh. But that's just a huge amount of time. In standby mode - about a month. With active use, you can hope for a week of work. And if you infrequently work on the tablet, then it will require recharging in about 2-3 weeks.

By the way, this device charges very quickly. It takes only 2 hours to recharge the battery from 0 to 100%. Compared to charging analogues, this is not so long. Plus, with a slight charge, the battery does not deteriorate. So, you can not worry that the gadget will turn off at the most inopportune moment.

Price tag and results

In principle, we already know the main Tab 3 Lite. Now it's time to take stock. But first, let's find out the cost of this tablet. Maybe she's too tall? And it will scare away many potential buyers. What do we really have?

In fact, the price tag for this tablet is not very big. You can find "Samsung Galaxy" for only 8-9 thousand rubles. A device of this type, as a rule, costs 2 times more. So if you need an inexpensive but high-quality tablet, then pay attention to this option Can. And even necessary in some cases.

It should be noted that "Samsung" is an excellent choice for study and work. In other words, Samsung Tab 3 Lite is a good gift for any student. With it, you can not worry that the child will play different games for days on end. And there are not so many opportunities for entertainment here. But this is usually enough for users.

If you need it, then "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite" is not your choice. We'll have to look for a more expensive, perfect and larger option. But in general, the Samsung Tab 3 Lite is really worth considering when choosing a gadget for yourself and your family. This is a great purchase and gift.
