Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a new game from developers from the Eidos Montreal studio. The next part of the popular shooter with an admixture of role-playing and stealth will soon appear on all world shelves on discs and in digital form. In this article, you will learn everything about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: system requirements, expectations and a description of the plot of the novelty.

The plot of the game

The Great Series is a noir genre with cyberpunk elements. It is because of the style that the project fell in love with many players around the world. Before looking at the system requirements for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, let's take a look at the history. According to the plot, the novelty is a direct continuation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution from the same developers. Approximately two years have passed since the events of the last game. In the new game, you have to correct and eliminate all the consequences of the choice from the previous game.

But without outside help nothing will come of Adam Jensen, so he is looking for an influential patron who can help him realize all his plans. The hero had to work for Interpol. As the game progresses, you will have to make many decisions, choose between two opposing camps and defend your position, because Adam is an outcast in the new world.

Mechanics

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (system requirements are described below) is a completely redesigned game. Many players complained that the previous part provided too little freedom. Your choices practically did not affect anything, the variability of the shooter's passage suffered from this. In the new part, according to the developers, the player will have to make the decisive choice much more often than in the final mission of the first part of the series.

The mechanics of the new part has also undergone significant changes. New features expand the freedom of action and flight of fancy for the stealth passage of the game. But no one bothers you to pick up a submachine gun instead of a shock gun and shoot all the enemies. The combat system has been heavily reworked and new animations have been added to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. System requirements, despite the new game engine, are surprisingly quite democratic. A new release is planned very soon. Release date set for late August current year. Journalists and critics warmly reacted to the predecessor, so Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is not in danger of failure. The project is released on three different platforms at once: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided System Requirements (PC)

To run the game at the minimum graphics quality settings, you will need approximately the following processor with four cores and 2 GHz from Intel or AMD, 3 GB random access memory, a video card with support for 3 shaders and 512 MB of memory, 40 GB of free space on the hard drive to install the game. It is with such hardware that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will have to work stably. System requirements may be slightly changed by developers until the release of the game, so it is not recommended to fully rely on the specified parameters. For comfortable gameplay with good graphics and a stable FPS on the screen, you will need a configuration at least twice as powerful as that indicated in this article.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a first-person shooter with stealth action and RPG elements available on platforms such as Windows, Linux, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. This game is a continuation of the Deus Ex series. It was created by Canadian developer Eidos Montreal. Work on the project became known in April 2015.

The game takes place in 2029 - 2 years after the events of the previous part. The main location is Prague. Adam Jensen is back as the main character. This time he got a job at Interpol. In this part, augmented citizens are persecuted, and various organizations are trying in every way to infringe on their rights. In opposition to this, many underground opposition communities are beginning to form. Their main goal is to restore rights for augmented people. These groups are considered as terrorist. Adam, as an agent of Interpol, must establish the involvement of these communities in some terrorist acts.

The player can visit various shops and establishments. You can get into them through the front door, ventilation, roof and so on. You have to look for a lot of hiding places. The number of additional quests, although small, is equal to a medium-sized DLC. In almost every task there are investigations, penetrations and interrogations. This part introduces a new useful feature- in the shelter, the cursor turns into a pointer: where to go. You need to select a point and Adam will move to a new barricade - this way it's easier to sneak out from under fire. A competitive mode has also appeared, in which hackers penetrate the servers of various influential companies. The game does not have multiplayer, there is only a single player campaign.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a first-person action RPG developed by Eidos Montreal in association with Nixxes Software. The game takes place in the year 2029 - in a world where augmented people have become outcasts. The main character of the game is still Adam Jensen.

Plot:

In the previous part, Adam made a choice on which, in addition to his life, the lives of millions of people depended. But, after two years, he realizes that he made a mistake and wants to correct what he did. He will have to find an authoritative and powerful benefactor in order to counteract the secret forces that influence world processes. It is for this reason that Adam began to work for Interpol, but became a double agent. He believes that his organization is being manipulated by the Illuminati and plans to eliminate them.

IN Mankind Divided mechanically modified people, like Adam Jensen, are recognized as outcasts of humanity and experience severe harassment, and most organizations try to discriminate against their rights in any way. To restore the rights of such people, illegal Fronder societies are created, which the government regards as terrorist. This was called mechanical segregation.

Adam, as an agent of Interpol, must determine their attitude towards some acts of terror. The most important tie of the plot is the search for balance among these associations.

As conceived by the writers, the key idea Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the question "about the perception of yourself as you have become not of your own free will, but due to circumstances, and the subsequent understanding of who you are." And studio director Eidos Montreal said that the development team will make every effort to ensure that the PC version has its own features that will distinguish it from consoles. "It's very important to us that the PC version is seen as a standalone product."

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Season Pass

It became known that will be part of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Season Pass.

The minimum and recommended system requirements have become known. The editors of the site found out how powerful computer will be required in order to run a cyberpunk game on the appropriate graphics settings with a comfortable fps level.

Netizens have already expressed their surprise at the fact that a weak computer by modern standards meets the minimum requirements. An Intel Core i3-2100 and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 are enough to run Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on the lowest graphics settings. Thus, the game does not necessarily require the purchase of the most modern computer.

The recommended system requirements are Intel Core i7-3770K and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970. It is known that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will support the DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 APIs. DirectX 11 is enough for the minimum requirements, but there is no clarity about the recommended system requirements . The developers did not specify which API this hardware is intended to work with. But it is known for sure that the recommended system requirements are relevant for running the game in 1080p resolution. For more high resolution you need more powerful hardware.

Minimum system requirements of the game:

  • Operating system: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or equivalent from AMD
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB)
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Free hard disk space: 45 GB for the main game
  • Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770K or AMD FX 8350
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (2 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 480 (2 GB)
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Free hard drive space: 55 GB for base game and all DLCs.

According to Gamebomb.ru, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided preload on Steam starts on August 19th. The game will become available for passage on August 23.

On August 11, the system requirements of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided became known, and very soon, on August 23, the continuation of Adam Jensen's adventures in the cruel world of cyber renaissance will reach the release.

And we again help you cheaply and cheerfully find the right gaming hardware for the next potential masterpiece.

Note . All prices listed below are the lowest available in various stores and are current as of mid-August 2016.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided minimum system requirements

operating system: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.1GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 B50 @ 3.2GHz.
video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2 GB.
RAM: 8 GB.

We remind you that even if video cards and processors are five years old in the requirements above (and this time it is), this does not mean that the game will “fly” with you. Usually, owners of configurations close to the minimum system requirements can afford a stable 60 frames just the same at the minimum graphics settings. Or you will have to lower the resolution.

Processor for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

As already mentioned, in minimum requirements the new part of Deus Ex has rather old hardware. Which means you won't find it in stores anymore. Nevertheless, having thoroughly rummaged through the Internet shelves and studied the performance ratings, we managed to pick up two of the most inexpensive processors from Intel and AMD. This time we took BOX versions, since the difference in price compared to OEM (without a complete cooler) is only a few hundred rubles:

Intel Core i3-6100 BOX @ 3.7 GHz for 8900 rubles (left) and AMD FX-4300 BOX @ 3.8 GHz for 4800 rubles (right)

Judging by synthetic tests, the first (dual-core) version is about 30 percent more powerful than the required one, and the second (quad-core) is 60 percent more powerful. However, do not forget that AMD products, as a rule, perform well only in synthetics, but in reality, in gaming, dual-core or quad-core Intel often outperform their quad-core or octa-core counterparts, respectively, from a competitor company. There are, however, cheaper models in stores, but all of them no longer live up to the minimum requirements of the game.

Video card for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Video cards like the GeForce GTX 660 or the Radeon HD 7870 have also been taken off the market a long time ago. I had to pick up modern equivalents:

ASUS GeForce GTX 950 2 GB for 11,300 rubles (left) and ASUS Radeon R7 370 2 GB for 11,800 rubles (right)

Both GeForce and Radeon are very close in performance to those models that are listed in the minimum requirements for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Moreover, the graphics card based on the chip from NVIDIA turned out to be even slightly cheaper! This, by the way, is very rare. Therefore, we advise you to take the opportunity and choose a more reliable product.

RAM for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

IN this moment DDR4 and DDR3 RAM are already sold at almost the same price. So we first wanted to take the memory more modern technology. But it turned out that motherboards with DDR4 support and AMD processors at the same time does not happen yet. Therefore, we have chosen:

Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 for 3100 rubles

These are two 4 GB sticks with a good frequency and timings from the long-established American manufacturer Kingston Technology.

Motherboard for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

If earlier we always chose "motherboards" manufactured by Gigabyte Technology (GIGABYTE), now we decided to refuse them. Recently, the products of this Chinese company have received unflattering reviews. And this also applies to video cards. After studying the budget segment of the motherboard market, we looked at solutions from Micro-Star International (MSI) and ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS). In the end, we settled on the last option:

ASUS B150-PLUS D3 (for Intel) for 5800 rubles (left) and ASUS M5A97 PLUS (for AMD) for 4500 rubles (right)

These are excellent models for their class in a full-size ATX form factor. We remind you that any stripped-down versions of boards like Mini-ATX or Micro-ATX are highly discouraged for installation even in a budget gaming PC. You may save a thousand more, but you will also greatly cut down on your ability to further upgrade.

Hard drive for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Our favorite "Winchester" from western digital still on sale. One terabyte of free space in August 2016 is more than enough, so feel free to take this model:

Western Digital WD10EZEX 1 TB for 3900 rubles

You can, of course, search hard disks a smaller volume for the sake of saving, but you will save only a few hundred rubles, but there may not be enough space.

Case and power supply for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

This time we also change the manufacturer of cases:

Exegate CP-313 (500 W) for 2600 rubles

This model looks quite decent and no frills. An ordinary strong steel box of strict black color with a nice front panel, a ventilation grill on the side wall and a complete 500 W power supply. More than enough for an inexpensive computer.

The final cost of a budget PC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

    Intel Core i3 6100 BOX + ASUS GeForce GTX 950 2GB + Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB 1600MHz + ASUS B150-PLUS D3 + Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB + Exegate CP-313 (500W) = 35 600 rubles

    AMD FX-4300 + ASUS Radeon R7 370 2GB + Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB 1600MHz + ASUS M5A97 PLUS + Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB + Exegate CP-313 (500W) = 30 700 rubles

Well, the difference is about 100 dollars at today's exchange rate - 6300 rubles. If this is a lot of money for you, then you can try to save money by choosing the first option. But such configurations usually have fewer guarantees of uninterrupted operation.

As a reminder, we've also built an inexpensive PC for games like Doom and Mirror's: Edge Catlyst in the past.
