1. Introduction.

Mobile Phone Stand - Mobile Phone Stand . It is made from natural wood, plywood, lining, etc.

Justification of the problem.

When I chose the theme of the project, I decided that I needed a mobile phone stand. Today, a mobile phone is no longer a luxury, but a means of communication familiar to everyone. Users can call, send SMS messages, take pictures, listen to the player, go online. From a mobile phone, you can call an ambulance and contact emergency services. And so that the mobile phone is not lost at home and is always at hand, a stand for it will definitely come in handy.

Why I chose this product:

    The mobile phone is conveniently placed on the stand.

    The stand is an original design solution and an addition to any interior.

    The product is easy to manufacture.

2. Product design.

3. Requirements for the product.

1. Product name

"Mobile phone stand".

2. Functionality

3. User

4. Single or mass production

single

5. Requirement for materials

Affordable, durable.

6. Manufacturing method

Manual sawing with a jigsaw.

7. Appearance, style

Excellent decor.

8. Requirement in terms of safety of use

Doesn't have sharp corners, carefully sanded, so there are no splinters that can be hooked, lacquered.

9. Environmental requirements

Made from environmentally friendly material (plywood),

4.Tools and equipment.

Tools are objects used to influence an object: its measurement, study.

1. Jigsaw - a hand tool with a replaceable saw blade designed for curved sawing of plywood and thin boards.

2. Jigsaw blades - this is a steel serrated blade that saws a jigsaw.

3. Skin - paper or cloth sprinkled over the glue with emery or fine broken glass.

4. Self-tapping screw - a fastener in the form of a rod with a head and a special external thread that forms an internal thread in the hole of the connected object.

5. Drill-cutting tool with a rotary cutting movement and an axial feed movement, designed to make holes in a continuous layer of material.

6. Drill - a manual, pneumatic or electric tool designed for drilling holes during construction, finishing, carpentry, plumbing and other work

5. Materials.

Wood materials - structural, insulating and ornamental materials obtained by processing natural wood with binders, gluing, etc. Depending on the manufacturing method, wood-based materials are divided into pressed, impregnated, glued laminated wood, wood-based plastics and wood-based panels.

There are 2 materials from which you can make a key holder:

1) wood - a relatively hard and durable fibrous material, the main part of the trunks, branches and roots of trees and shrubs hidden by the bark. It consists of countless tubular cells with membranes mainly of cellulose.

2) plywood - a multi-layer building material is made by gluing specially prepared veneer.

3) lining is a natural wood sheathing board. It is often used for both outdoor and indoor finishing work. Most country houses and cottages are finished with clapboard, which is called siding, and it is also often used to build various gazebos and baths.

For the stand, we choose 9 mm plywood, since plywood is light and durable.

6. Safety regulations.

Before starting work, you must:

    Tidy up your work clothes.

    Prepare workplace to work.

    Work with a jigsaw and an awl with securely fastened and serviceable tools.

    Securely attach the saw table to the workbench.

    Securely fix the file in the frame of the jigsaw.

    Do not make sudden movements with a jigsaw when cutting, do not lean low over the workpiece.

    Put on overalls.

    Check inventory availability.

    Securely clamp the workpiece in a vise.

    Perform work only with serviceable, well-adjusted tools.

    To avoid injury, be sure to:

A) tools with pointed tails must be equipped with wooden, tightly fitting handles, of an established shape without splits and cracks;

B) do not be distracted during work;

C) when working with a hacksaw, when washing down, use devices.

12 . Do not check the quality of the finished surface with your fingers.

13. Use carpentry tools only for their intended purpose.

7 . Routing.

8. Environmental justification.

9. Economic calculations.

1) manual jigsaw = 76.80 rubles.

2) 9 mm plywood = 2.25 m 2 = 117 rubles. (price for 1 sheet)

3) sandpaper = 10 rubles.

4) pencil = 10 rubles.

5) ruler = 20 rubles.

6) jigsaw files (2 pack) = 80 rubles.

7) hooks = 6r. * 6pcs = 36r.

8) loops \u003d 10r. * 2 pcs. \u003d 20r.

9) door handle = 20r.

Answer: 76.80 + 117 + 10 + 10 + 20 + 80 + 36 + 20 + 20 = 391.8 rubles.

Such wooden stand under the phone is very easy to manufacture. We have already made three such coasters, we will show you how it is done using the fourth as an example. If you want a modern DIY stand for your phone, read on!

Stage 1: Choosing a tree

You can use any wood to make the stand. We have already tried to make a stand out of pine and oak boards. This tutorial will use maple.

Stage 2: Slicing

The size of the stand directly depends on the size of your mobile phone and how big you want it to be. Our coasters range in size from 5.5 X 3.25 to 6.25 X 3 inches.

Stage 3: Cut out the groove

To cut the groove in which the phone will be fixed, we used a table saw. We set the blade so as to make a slot approximately to the middle of the board. The deeper the cut, the better phone fixed in the stand, so you can experiment with the depth of the groove.

To widen the slot, just keep making cuts next to the first one. In total, 3-4 cuts will be needed, depending on the thickness of your mobile device.

Stage 4: Tilt angle

Cutting off a small corner on one side of the groove allows the phone to be placed on the stand with a slight slope. We did not set the exact angle when cutting, just sawing off small angles until we get the optimal comfortable angle. The main thing is not to make too much angle!

Stage 5: Sanding

Since we had to rip out the sawn pieces of wood to get the groove, the cut turned out to be rather uneven. We found a small block of wood, the same width as the width of the groove, wrapped it in sandpaper and sanded it down. So in a simple way it turned out pretty good to smooth the cut.

Stage 6: Finishing coat

After sanding, we coated the coasters with linseed oil and let it soak in.

Stage 7: Design (optional)

We painted one of the coasters in White color On the one side. We covered the stand with oil after the paint had dried. Try not to let oil get on the paint, the oil can partially wash it off. We covered the painted part with a transparent acrylic finish.

The finished coaster can also be varnished with clear lacquer instead of oil, but we liked the color that the oil gives to the wood.

It happens that in some places there is not always a stable connection, in my case, the Beeline operator, since the tower is far away and nearby trees interfere with calmly transmitting the signal. I didn’t want to make any antenna for the phone, I came up with a simpler one, this is a phone stand that could be placed in the place where the connection is stable and does not depend on weather conditions. And about how to make a stand for the phone, I will tell you in this article.

As in any other homemade product, we need to decide on the necessary materials.

In order to make this stand you will need:
* Parquet.
* Board width 8cm.
* Epoxy adhesive.
* Threads, matches.
* Black felt.
* Hacksaw for metal.
* Drill and drills for it with a diameter of 3 and 6 mm.
* Coarse and fine-grained sandpaper.
* Screw length 55mm.

That's all the materials that we need, which is not hard to get, and if there is no parquet, then any strong board will do.

Now you can proceed to the gradual manufacture of the stand.

Step one.
The first step is to determine the dimensions of the future stand, for this we measure the dimensions of the phone that we want to install in the stand in the future, and do not forget to measure the thickness.

In my case, the thickness of the phone turned out to be quite large for the current time, after all, 1.5 cm is not small for a phone in 2017, but all this taking into account the fact that the phone has a protective bumper.
For convenience, we make a drawing on paper or in a program, as I did.

Step two.
After you have decided on the size of the stand, you can take the tools and cut out the main part. The basis in the stand is its so-called back, the dimensions of which are 8 * 9 cm. We take the thickness of the base 5 mm, no more and no less, because we don’t want the stand to be heavy or too fragile due to lack of thickness. To do this, I sawed across an already sawn board 8 * 9, reducing the thickness from 18 to 5 mm.

Now you need to drill a hole for attaching the stand to the wall, first drill with a 3mm drill, then 6mm, but not through, in order to hide the screw head. Then we round the corners with sandpaper.

Step three.
When the base is ready, you can start making legs that, with their design, will not allow the phone to fall.
To make paws, as it seemed to me, is best from the parquet that I found in my garage.

At first it was conceived so that the paws were composite, that is, assembled from two parts.

But due to the loss of strength with such a connection, I decided to make them solid. The result is such a foot in the form of the letter G.

There are three such paws in my design.

Step four.
At the beginning of great importance appearance I didn’t attach it, but in the course of manufacturing I realized that all sharp edges needed to be rounded off, which I did.

It is best to round sharp edges with coarse-grained sandpaper. Upon reaching the desired result, we grind with a finer grit to remove all teases.
Also, do not forget to sand the main part, since the surface of contact with the phone should be even.
Step five.
After all the component parts are sanded, you can proceed to fixing them to the base.
For these purposes, epoxy glue is best suited, which I have tested repeatedly and has proven to be high-strength.

Stir with matches one to one the right amount of epoxy glue and smear the places where the paws will be installed.

Epoxy glue dries for a long time, but holding the glued parts with your hands for a long time is simply not enough patience. Without thinking twice, I decided that the easiest way to fasten such a design with thread and matches, wrapping a dozen turns around its edges. Because of a large number turns of thread, everything is held securely, and most importantly, the parts are pressed tightly enough.
We first glue the lower foot in the middle, and then the two side ones.

I had to tinker a little with the side ones, in this case it is better to ask a friend to help, since two hands were clearly not enough to hold two parts, and also wrap it all around with a thread.

Leave everything to dry completely.
Step six.
The epoxy glue has dried up and despite the fact that the width of the touching plane is only 5 mm, the paws hold very tightly.

On the Internet, there are a huge number of all kinds of tips on how to make a phone stand with your own hands. It's very original and very interesting. In addition, such a process will give you great pleasure!

In order to make such a homemade, you will need:
Piece of a small tree
Drill
Sandpaper
Varnish on wood
In fact, your phone
miniature figurine
Glue

So, in order to make such unusual homemade, for starters, you need to prepare a tree.

Step 1
After you prepare the tree, you need to make a few holes in it. To do this, take your phone and the charging cord. Make the necessary marks so that you can check all the dimensions on them.

Step 2

Now, once you have produced all the dimensions, you can safely take a drill and do everything as noted.

Step 4 Now, varnish your homemade product.

Step 5
And now, there is little left to do. Take a miniature figurine and glue it to your stand. Also, if desired, you can sprinkle the stand with sparkles and anything you like.

In any case, you will like the resulting design very much. After all, it is made by your own hands.

Your loved ones will certainly appreciate such a wonderful gift. Fantastic inventions.

Homemade mahogany smartphone stand.

Hi all! Today we will make for a mobile phone in the form of a dog - a symbol of the year.

Now you need to make a stand for it. To do this, we cut out a circle with a diameter of 70 mm from wood. Sand it down with sandpaper.

We take a few gears that are so small.

We also take epoxy and hardener.

We take plasticine and apply a thin layer on one of the sides of the internal cavity of the figurine and glue it with polyethylene on the same side.

We knead the epoxy glue according to the instructions and pour about 2 mm into the cavity of the figure. This will be the first layer. We are waiting for the solidification of this layer. Then lay out our pattern of gears and fill in the rest.

Our dog is dry.

We remove plasticine. We take sandpaper and bring everything into a divine form.

We mark with a pencil on the figure the point where the hole will be.

Drill make a small indentation.

Now we make a wooden chop that will fix it all. We insert the chopstick into the stand, spread it with PVA glue and also lower part figurines in a thin layer so that the glue does not protrude. We connect. Leave until completely dry. Next, we rub our entire product with herbalist impregnation.

Here's what we got.
