The capacitor was replaced with a serviceable one and again decided to check the DRE 5000 satellite receiver for sound and picture quality. The buzz disappeared, but the picture fell on most channels, but less.
On the forums, it was advised to remove the capacitor C5 - 100pF per 1000 volts, since it and the capacitor and resistor next to it are filled with a composite for some reason. The composite eventually loses its properties and begins to conduct current. These parts overlap with each other and the board burns out. The capacitor was removed and the board was cleaned of the composite. Look at the photo. But these details do not affect the image and began to dig further.
And everything turned out to be simple.
The tuner of the DRE 5000 receiver has an electrolytic capacitor that dries out over time and starts to work incorrectly. And the receiver, you know, is already old and out of production. This capacitor must be removed and a new one soldered in its place, at 220 microfarads 16 volts. It is easier to solder the conduit to the fifth leg of the tuner so that the tuner does not solder from the board. Which is what was done.
Again I checked the DRE 5000 satellite receiver for image quality. The squares disappeared and the signal from the dish and all channels showed clearly. On this satellite receiver repair The DRE 5000 was completed and the receiver handed over to the customer.
