How to install a duplicate Bible on an iPhone. Bible app for iOS: even more offline options

Bible App Update 4.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch available now in the iTunes App Store. Since many of you use the Bible app while offline, one of the most frequent requests from YouVersion users is the introduction of the ability to use the full functionality of the application offline. We hope you enjoy the latest update.

Improved offline use. We've added the ability to use offline some of your favorite features—Reading Plans, Notes, and even home page"Today"! We've also improved the list of Bible translations you've downloaded offline. The Bible app for iOS now contains all the information directly on your device, and will sync with your profile as soon as the network is available to you. Add notes and continue reading as planned anywhere, anytime—even when you're offline!

Improved bookmarks. Bookmarks work the same way as before. Just click on the Bible verse or passage you want to memorize, send to friends, or bookmark. We've also added the ability to edit your bookmarks, so you can organize them the way you want.

Change Password. You've always been able to sign in and out of your Bible App account, but if you wanted to change your password, you had to visit YouVersion.com . But now, for the first time ever, you can change your password right from the Bible app on your mobile device.

Corrections and improvements. As with any update to the Bible App for iOS, we took the opportunity to make some fixes and improvements. While the community lets us know about problems with the app through our support site, our own teams of testers and developers often offer ideas on how to improve the app's usability.

Don't forget to tell your friends about this update to the Bible app for iOS. And take a look at our pages at Facebook And Twitter. We are waiting for your comments!

Pull-out menu. Simply tap the menu icon at the top of the screen to instantly access the Bible app features you use most: Bible, Planners, Bookmarks, Notes and more. Another press will allow you to go to any of the available menu items, including new page"Today"…

Profile. You can now view and configure most account settings on one screen. You can set your account's display name, change your photo, or update contact information, and also view Accounts friends and people who are your readers.
